One of my friends sent me this air ticket deals site. I have seen some really good deals from this site before, so I will just post it here so that this site can be known as well. (Just try to be fair…)

ASAP tickets

Another place to buy last minute air tickets. I haven’t tried to use this yet but it looks quite simple to use without all the junk ads. Just like any other bargain sites for air tickets, the tickets are non-refundable or will charge you extra for date change. If you have a chance to give this site a try, please let me know of your experience with it. Good luck! ...

China attacks U.S. human rights record

America has written reviews on the human rights issues of many countries, but not of its own. China this time wrote a human rights record of America. http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2008-03-13-china-us-human-rights_N.htm This is the original 2006 human rights record of America written in Chinese. http://www.sepc.edu.cn/data/news/2007391533142.htm America is not doing any better than other countries on human rights. This is saddening and worrisome.

Image you can view a pdf document online without waiting for your acrobat app to load, or view a word doc without downloading and opening with MS word. mailinator

This is something cool. If you are in a situation you would like to hand out your mail to get more info, yet worry about getting spam not being able to unsubscribe easily, Mailinator is probably the best solution so far. Say, you are attending a info session on some gadgets by company named “whatever123”. When you have a chance to sign up to get further info, you can simply put in the email “whatever123@mailinator.com”. Now, you notice you didn’t even sign up for that email address? That’s right! Then you go home and go to mailinator.com and in the login box, just type in whatever123 as the user name and the mailbox will open up, you get the info you want. Mailinator also offers RSS so you can use a regular username for yourself. ...

Everything is Spiritual

This is incredible! " Everything is Spiritual" is a DVD that looks at the creation account from Genesis one in the Bible, with all the latest science understandings we currently have. From the biggest like the galaxies, stars, to the smallest like the atoms, quarks, and sub-atomic substances. The speaker, Rob Bell, is the founding pastor of Mars Hill Bible Church. He is by far the most scientifically knowledgeable pastor I have ever known. The DVD is $20, and believe me, it is well worth the money. The talk length is 1 hr and 20 mins, I became more awake as I was watching it. It’s definitely eye-opening to say the least! ...

Pandora

I sometimes need to play music at my work place to keep myself from falling asleep. I have subscribed to napster ($9.99 per month) for quite a while until I found this free online radio player. It’s call Pandora. If you are like me, listening to the same genre of songs, then you will like this. Basically, you start with typing in an artist’s name, or a song’s name, Pandora will search for a closest match. From this closest song, then comes the next related song, then the next related song, and so forth. The best yet, there is no advertisement! Try it out! ...

Program shortcuts

If you need to stay in front of your computer for work and possibly after work everyday, sooner or later you will get tired of using your mouse. Throughout the years, with my limited knowledge of some of the common shortcut keys I have saved so much of my time and arm movements. I think everyone of my generation should know most of the frequently used shortcut keys already. But if you are interested to learn even more shortcut keys for specific programs such as PhotoShop, Excel, etc, you will find this site http://www.keyxl.com/ very useful. Certainly it’s not possible to say goodbye to my mouse, but as much as possible I would rather keep my hands on my keyboard for the most of the time. ...
