The last night of the world by Ray Bradbury

In the background the two girls were playing blocks on the parlour rug in the light of the green hurricane lamps. There was an easy, clean aroma of the brewed coffee in the evening air. ...

Badminton online tutorial

There are so many badminton online tutorials out there. Among many that I have read, this site called the Badminton Bible is the most complete and detailed. It contains pictures, detailed descriptions of postures, and also explanations on many things it covers. It is definitely a good starting point to get all your fundamentals down! There are also many good tutorial videos on youtube of course.

The Mystery of Dark Matter

I just found this awesome video about dark matter. It is made by Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. The video is very well done and informative, this is probably an understatement. If you are a visual person and have only limited knowledge of physics, then this video may be for you! Ref URL: http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/Perimeter_Explorations/The_Mystery_of_Dark_Matter/The_Mystery_of_Dark_Matter/ You can start from this embedded video and follow along to go through the whole series of videos. ...

Taipei Exchange

This movie is called <> Taipei Exchange. For those of you who don’t read Chinese, those Chinese characters mean “The 36th Story”. Why 36? Um… you got to watch it… I don’t want to spoil it here. ;) Chinese movies don’t often explicitly express the director’s view. If you grow up with a lot of western movies then you may feel a little lost watching this. Overall I like the camera angles and also that, the story slightly touches many life issues. There is no big arguments nor dramatic moments for sure. If you are looking for a light, open-ended, and not-serious movie, this could be it. ...
