Just got an unknown call from this number: (646)-873-6493. It just rang once, then ended. It’s a New York area code, but I don’t recognize the number. Further googling suggests that this is a telemarketing phone number trying to collect active phone numbers.

I already filed a complaint at http://www.numberinvestigator.com/. Not sure if that’s useful but at least I have done my part.
